About Me
I’m Peter Coyl, your intrepid guybrarian. I have a MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia focusing on Library service to children and young adults. Currently I work as a Librarian at a K-12 International School in Taiwan. In high school and college I worked in my local public Library and by the end of my time there I had worked in every department: from shelving books to driving the Bookmobile. I also spent some time working at my University Library and serving on my City Library Board.
I am a member of the Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA), the American Library Association (ALA), the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), the Association of American School Librarians (AASL) and the Young Adult Library Service Association (YALSA).
