I’m Peter Coyl, your intrepid guybrarian.  I have a MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia focusing on Library service to children and young adults.  Currently I manage one of the Branches of the Dallas Public Library system (The things I blog are my own opinions and no one elses). In high school and college I worked in my local public Library and by the end of my time there I had worked in every department: from shelving books to driving the Bookmobile. I also spent some time working at my University Library and serving on my City Library Board.

I am a member of the the American Library Association (ALA), the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), the Public Library Association.
